You may have heard the term “Two-Spirit” — perhaps because Jason Mraz used it to describe his sexual identity and others have done the same — but not known what it meant. It’s actually a modern umbrella term used to describe Indigenous people who embody both a feminine and masculine energy, and it’s been co-opted by non-Native people. |
