"This Time Is Different"
That was the headline from a recent Wall Street Journal article, telling investors not to worry about a crash of the booming Nasdaq index. "These are the times that really frighten me," commented Glenn Beck guest Danielle DiMartino, former Fed insider who warned of a possible crash in the future. Beyond all the speculation on Wall Street, how does this affect folks on Main Street? Dangerously. As DiMartino points out, Boomers have already learned twice that their assets are not safe in a boom-and-bust scenario. The biggest fear for us on Main Street is unemployment. In 2010, the average length of unemployment was 27.5 weeks - half a year! Even now, it hovers around three months. My family is pretty particular about the taste of dinner, I ordered the 72hour trial pack and shared a few of the meals with friends. Everyone came back and said the taste was incredible and the portions were ample.

So far, I can say my whole family has approved. I purchased a 4 week supply to start an emergency supply but my children are not going to let it sit in storage. Easy to prepare and delicious. |
