"We’re all mad here," the Cheshire Cat famously explains to Alice during her first foray into Wonderland. "I’m mad. You’re mad." That's a very spot-on description of our current political and media environment, and here's a roundup of the latest craziness:
Gaetz's slam on Ryan was one of the tamer things he said in Georgia Thursday night. One comment that got a lot of reaction on Twitter was when he told the crowd that they have "an obligation" to use the Second Amendment against Big Tech.
But it's tough to out-crazy Greene, especially on her home turf. From the "really bad Mexican accent" she mockingly brought out to discuss border issues to explicitly comparing Democrats to Nazis, she was on a roll. All the nuttiness just seems to make her more popular with her base. CNN's Donie O'Sullivan even interviewed one rally attendee who compared Greene to Jesus Christ.
Two Trump fans unfurled a giant banner declaring "TRUMP WON" at a Yankees game, with a predictable response from the Bronx crowd.
Jimmy Kimmel called the former president "a crazy old man shouting at pigeons."
A new poll found that 3 out of 4 Republicans apparently believe that left-wing protestors are to blame for the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.
And, finally, a Boston man was spotted driving a moped the wrong way on the highway, and two local sports radio hosts provided a play-by-play as the cops pursued and finally apprehended him. The man was arrested and taken to the hospital for evaluation.

On Thursday, CNN’s Manu Raju was preparing go live from the Capitol ahead of a Senate vote on whether to investigate the January 6 riot there when, suddenly, an intruder of another kind entered the frame.
A cicada, part of the brood that is currently at the point in its 17-year-cycle where they emerge from underground, had landed on Raju's shoulder and startled him, leading to a hilarious video segment that Raju himself posted on Twitter of him absolutely freaking the heck out as the large bug crawled up his neck.
Raju's fellow journalists reacted with horror and sympathy on Twitter, dubbing him CNN's "Chief Cicada Correspondent."
