So says Genelle Aldred, a communications consultant and former journalist, whose first book about communication and social justice will publish later this year.
In an interview with CT’s blog The Better Samaritan, Aldred emphasizes the importance of understanding that our perspectives are not always aligned with reality. She encourages Christians to acknowledge their unconscious biases and consider what they may need to change in order to pursue justice and mercy.

In communion with Christ and fellow believers, you can see the world more like God sees it, seeking first the Kingdom of God and its righteousness in light of the truth.
