Clay Higgins says COVID almost killed him
By Bob WarrenSinging the COVID blues: Guess we kinda saw this one coming, right? The French Quarter Festival has been canceled. It comes on heels of several other recent cancellations, including the Jazz Festival. Geez. It also comes as the city prepares to require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test to be allowed into a lot of public venues. That's old hat for some restaurants and bars, our restaurant/bar guru Ian McNulty says. How'd that get there? Earlier this week a letter signed by 19 lawmakers was sent to Gov. John Bel Edwards urging him to drop the mask mandate in public schools. But now some of the lawmakers are saying their names shouldn't have been on it. Saints predictions anyone?
