Mug Turned Colorful Candle Holder
By Benetta
I recently was gifted with a few bottles of Dala glass glaze. Some time ago, I received a white mug that was used as the gift box for a small gift. I wanted to do something with the mug. There was nothing wrong with the mug, except that it was white. I decided to turn the mug into a nifty candle holder using the glaze.

Sometimes my manicures stay nice and intact all over, but new nail growth will really take away from its "polished" look. To keep my nails looking fresh, I grab some baby jewels from my local Japanese dollar shop and affix them on top of the new nail growth with a bit of strong, clear polish. Fun and cheap!

This ribbon brooch looks really classy. You can alter the look by changing the width and length of the ribbon, by adding or subtracting the number of ribbon pieces you use and by choosing ribbons of different colours and patterns.

As I was unpacking in my new home, I decided to do something with some of my bone china collection. I made a few of these candle cups to use as special keepsake gifts. They make nice warm heart filled gifts for an old friend or when visiting a friend you have have not seen in a long while.

If you break a glass candle stick; what to do? You take an old plate and use the Gorilla Glue for glass and glue the candle stick onto the bottom of the plate. Now you will have a pretty cake plate. I got the idea for this when I wanted to make gifts for the parents in my pre-school for Christmas.

This is so cute and super easy to make. Children will love to keep this in their pocket to show others at school. Older children can make one themselves. In fact even adults think this simple toy is totally awesome. Everyone who sees Jack's happy face pop out can't help smiling.

Leaf Patterned Glass Table Top
By tracy
A glass top coffee table can be changed to match the seasons. Every few months. I gather leaves from either my cedar or oak tree and lay them atop the glass. I give it a light coat of spray paint, remove the leaves and once dried, flip the glass over.

My son is now on his 4th set of ladybug boots. They are his favorites and a good friend of ours always comments that she wants to steal them from him. So when he outgrew his last pair we decided to make planters out of them and give her one. She absolutely loved it!

This was a spur of the moment craft created when a three year old noticed a sheet of felt circles I had sitting around. As they were self stick pads for the bottom of chair legs and I had extras, I began to think what he could stick them on.

Use an old recycled chair from the junk to make into a planter for flowers to set in the garden. Get an old chair to use. Take the seat off and use as a pattern to cut one out of hard wood to withstand the weather.

My machine is a Pfaff German model Varimatic 6091 purchased in 1999.Brother CS6000i Won't SewI recently moved and packed up my Brother sewing machine in a shipping box. I unpacked it and everything was fine, but I stored it away in the closet for a year. Now when I go to press the foot pedal I just hear a loud humming, but the needle does not move up and down. I have tried moving the handwheel back and forth.Uses for Worn Towels with Frayed EdgesMany of my smaller towels have edges that are frayed and old. What should I do with them?
