FORECAST IN DETAIL The deep winter cold of the last two weekends is gone for this one, but it’s not quite picture-perfect either. Today is probably the pick of the two days despite mostly cloudy conditions and the risk of late-day showers. I don’t want to make tomorrow sound terrible, as it’s not, but winds are back with cooler temperatures. Slight warming is expected as we start the workweek. Today (Saturday): Clouds are much more common than sun. We might see a few extended breaks if we’re lucky. Most of the rain from the overnight wave is done, but we can’t rule out a few passing showers. Highs are mostly in the near-50 to mid-50s zone. Perhaps a little warmer if we see extended sunshine. Winds blow around 5 to 10 mph. Another round of showers is possible as we head into and through the evening, but it may not happen and they could be widely scattered. Confidence: Medium-High Tonight: There’s a risk of showers during the evening, and if any precipitation sticks around into the night, it could change over to snow. This is likely of the “conversational” nature if it happens. That means no sticking or major travel concerns. Lows eventually dip to near freezing in the coldest spots to the upper 30s or even 40 in the city. Confidence: Medium |
