A trio of brilliant high schoolers, one from Philly and two from Northern Virginia, spoke to Technical.ly about the innovations that made them finalists in the Regeneron Science Talent Search. Organized by the DC-based Society for Science, the over-80-year-old annual contest celebrates some of the country's best STEM students. For their research and projects tackling the world's most urgent issues, from our own minds to our solar system's furthest reaches, students and their schools can win thousands of dollars in funding.
