Hey everyone,

With the news of train strikes fresh in everyone's minds we decided to take a look at what may be called the golden era of locomotives and some of Lancashire's lost and forgotten railway stations. You can see our round-up of them here.

As usual there was a look back through the years in Preston, Blackpool, and the Fylde Coast. This week is our final look at the 00s, dipping into 2010. Next week will see a return to the 80s.

And even though the school summer holidays are still in full swing, we continued our walk through the corridors of time gone by, this time with a look at those who attended Ashton High School.

I hope all these nostalgic images brought back some wonderful memories for you all. Until next time...

Naomi
