That was the opening line of a Baltimore Sun profile on our parent company back in 2003. It was less than charitable. Describing our newsletters as ‘bombastic pitches that promise subscribers advice that will lead to riches and better living, or your money back. Guaranteed.’ We’re used to hit jobs from the mainstream. They come with the territory. But this particular broadside really hurts.
