Brooklyn artist Steve Wasterval’s tiny landscapes and community-wide scavenger hunts chronicle the fast-paced changes unfolding in Greenpoint.

At the Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning, an exhibition pays tribute to NYC’s Latine and African music history and genes like jazz, reggae, and bomba.

The city’s first center for Dominican arts and culture will open in 2026 in Washington Heights.
