Donor-advised funds (DAFs) are one of the fastest-growing giving vehicles, but many nonprofits have difficulty building ties with donors who hold these accounts. Whether you're looking to refine your approach or just beginning to build DAFs into your fundraising strategy, small changes can make a big impact. Register for our upcoming webinar, Actionable Insights Into DAF Donors, and hear from expert guests who will share proven tactics for attracting these ready-to-give gifts. |

Join us for a 75-minute webinar to learn directly from: Dan Heist is co-founder of the Donor-Advised Fund Research Collaborative and assistant professor of nonprofit management and social impact at Brigham Young University, where he conducts research on fundraising, charitable giving, and volunteering. Heist’s research on donor behavior is informed by his professional experience: Before pursuing his doctorate, he worked as a fundraiser for nearly a decade, including five years as a major-gifts officer, and was a Certified Fundraising Executive. Trish Davis is a nonprofit leader with expertise in major gifts, midlevel giving, and donor stewardship. With a passion for data, operations, and nonprofit technology, she drives innovation in fundraising as vice president of major gifts and planned giving at Susan G. Komen. She especially enjoys collaborating on strategies focused on donor-advised funds, planned giving, and donor engagement. Davis serves on the Nonprofit Advisory Council for Chariot, a DAF payment tool for nonprofits, and FreeWill’s Advisory Board. As a Certified Fundraising Executive and 2025 CFRE Ambassador, she mentors and supports the next generation of fundraisers. |
