Eighth snowiest winter on record for the Twin Cities
Good morning, This is now the eighth snowiest snow season in Twin Cities weather records. Breezy, cloudy. Chance of snow early in the evening, then a slight chance of snow late in the evening. Patchy blowing snow until early morning. Lows around 16. Get the latest on Updraft. đ§ A five-day, 40-hour workweek is the norm for many American workers. But why? What if instead of five work days, we had four? The idea of a four-day work week is gaining more and more traction. A recent pilot program in the U.K. tested four-day workweeks with fewer hours than the standard 40. The study showed positive results across the board for both employees and employers. | | Roundabout row: MnDOT's plan for London Road in Duluth riles residents | State transportation officials are moving ahead with a plan to remake a stretch of London Road in Duluth â the gateway to the North Shore â despite many residentsâ objections to one of three proposed roundabouts. To make way for the roundabouts, MnDOT would need to raze five homes â four near the 40th Ave. intersection, and one at 60th Ave., where Elizabeth Johnson has lived for the past six years, across from a rocky beach popular with surfers and dogwalkers.
