| What else we're watching: | Many cities have anti-crime laws. The DOJ says one in Minnesota harmed people with mental illness. Proponents say the laws help reduce crime, but the U.S. Department of Justice last year found Anoka used its ordinance to illegally discriminate against people with mental illnesses. BCA: Man with knife shot, officer injured in altercation in Willmar. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating after a police officer reportedly shot a man in Willmar Sunday morning who was threatening a victim with a knife. New DEED report finds Minnesota manufacturers optimistic for 2024. DEED Economic analysis director Neal Young says there are some good indicators for optimism, but it's not across the board. Minnesota marathoner Dakotah Lindwurm qualifies for U.S. Olympic team for Paris games. Lindwurm, a St. Francis native, will now begin training for the next six months to prepare for the summer Olympics. Edwards scores 32 as Timberwolves pull away to beat Rockets 111-90. The Timberwolves have won five of seven and the victory earned coach Chris Finch the nod to lead the Western Conference in the All-Star game. S PWHL: Toronto gets 4-1 win over Minnesota.
