Former GOP operative, donor faces sentencing on sex trafficking charges. A jury in March found Anton âTonyâ Lazzaro, 32, guilty of paying five teenage girls for sex, in violation of federal sex trafficking laws. Prosecutors are asking Judge Patrick Schiltz to impose a 30-year sentence.
Proposal to boost rideshare driver pay moves forward in Minneapolis. Members of the Minneapolis City Council are considering a measure designed to increase wages and improve working conditions for Uber and Lyft drivers in the city. Around two dozen people â many of them drivers â signed up to speak during a public hearing held in city council chambers Tuesday afternoon.
