#WorldRotaractWeek celebrates 49 years of Rotaract

Earlier this month Rotaractors celebrated #WorldRotaractWeek by doing what they do best—taking action! To participate in the week Rotaractors were asked to serve, celebrate, or give this year. Interactors find way to contribute to water sanitation globally  

The North Gwinnett High School Interact Club of Georgia, USA partnered with their sponsoring Rotary club to build Water Pasteurization Indictors (WAPI) that measure water quality. A WAPI is a low-cost thermometer that lets people know when boiling water has reached a safe temperature to drink. In one day, the club made 400 WAPIs to send to parts of the world without clean access to water. Watch the video that shows their project in action.
