We’re excited to announce that you can now use tags to organize your audience in MailChimp. Think of them as customizable labels you can create and assign to contacts as needed. You might be familiar with tags from using them in a customer relationship management (CRM) tool or even a blogging platform. Now you can create tags for your contacts in MailChimp, based on what you know about them—such as where you met them or something you know they like. The more information you have in MailChimp, the easier it is to send people the messages that matter to them. Try using tags as a lightweight way to categorize your contacts or add multiple tags to each contact so you can get more targeted with your marketing. And stay tuned—soon, you’ll even be able to use tags to trigger automated messages. |
