Note from the Associate Editorial Director | Still time to advance your professional development with the ACDIS Scholarship | by Linnea Archibald The last nearly two years with COVID-19 have been difficult for everyone, but especially for those in medical professions. While CDI professionals weren’t necessarily on the frontlines of the pandemic (though some were redeployed if they held nursing credentials), CDI departments everywhere faced budget cuts, furloughs, layoffs, and more. Without funding from their organization, many CDI specialists had to put a pause on their professional development efforts. While ACDIS has made efforts to provide resources to help you continue learning from home (from free webinars to virtual events), the ACDIS CDI Scholarship Program allows us to give back in a bigger way, helping selected recipients further their careers without spending a dime. |
