World Mental Health Day, 10 October, has been celebrated for over 30 years, and whilst awareness and acceptance of mental health may be increasing, so is the number of people affected by stress, anxiety and depression at work. Employers have a legal duty to ensure risks of stress and mental ill-health are factored into health and safety risk assessments and acted upon.However, many who are tasked with managing work-related stress do not understand their legal obligations, know what to do or where to start.
