We at Unconditional Basic Income Europe (UBIE) aim to inspire campaigning for Basic Income across Europe. Each month therefore, we bring you stories and insights on the basic income movement. Unleash your advocating powers! |
2021 is a year to move mountains. It’s time to push for the basic income idea. But advocating can be time-consuming if you lack skills and a step-by-step roadmap. Unconditional Basic Income Europe wants to make advocating easier and more efficient for you. This is why we are preparing a series of online training workshops that will provide you with actionable skills, tips and templates to spread the word about Basic Income, such as: - how to get in touch with journalists and shine on the local and national press
- generate tons of catchy social media content without reinventing the wheel
- design memorable visuals without design skills
- catch politicians’ interest and get booked for a meeting
- network and form alliances with other organisations
The sessions will take place Saturday afternoons and last between two to four hours. The first one is likely to be held shortly after Easter. Ready to get on board? Raise your glasses! We organised our second virtual Basic Income Beer meeting for this year in February. People joined from Hungary, Belgium, Germany, Sweden and the Czech Republic for interesting talks around Basic Income. The next meeting will take place on Saturday, 20 March from 6pm CET – grab your drink and have fun with us! |
