Development underway for workplace COVID-19 testing

April more optimistic for Greenville business than expected

Another survey launched by the Greenville Chamber, city of Greenville and Greenville Area Development Corporation charts an increase in optimism among business owners despite a 45% cut in gross income over the month of April.

SCDOT projects $78 million revenue reduction

The S.C. Department of Transportation projects a $78 million revenue reduction as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic’s effect on gas tax and car sales receipts.The forecast predicts a $54 million shortfall in gas tax revenue and a $24 million decrease in vehicle sales tax through July

DHEC exceeds goal of testing 2% of population for COVID-19

The S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control has exceeded its goal of testing 2% of the state’s population, or 110,000 people, for COVID-19 by May 31. DHEC announced Tuesday that 110,316 tests have been performed in South Carolina since May 1.
