Thousands of publishers, authors and readers gather yearly at the Salone Internazionale del Libro di Torino exhibition area, Italy’s largest book fair which registered 220,000 attendees in 2024. The 1988-born Turin public-facing fair will feature over 2,000 on-site events as well an Off-Fair program with countless Italian and International guests. Be it in the field of literature, philosophy, science, art, journalism, religion, cinema or music, the fair’s panel program includes the most influential and interesting personalities of the cultural environment worldwide. Salone del Libro also powers the Rights Centre as well as several book-inspired initiatives throughout the year all over Italy.

The title of the XXXVII edition of the Salone del Libro Words fall lightly between us, a tribute to the homonymous novel by Lalla Romano, who in turn was inspired by a verse of Eugenio Montale’s.
