ATLANTA:The Battery Atlanta has kicked off a series of summer festivities taking place at the mixed-use development, including outdoor yoga on Mondays 6:30-7:30 p.m. Aspiring guests must register for the free event online before attending and must bring their own mat. A farmers market will also be held on July 17 from 1-4 p.m. where visitors can shop from a variety of local vendors selling wellness products, organic foods, artisanal breads, and more. Other events include a Mimosa Fest, USTA’s Tennis on the Turf, a National Wine and Cheese Day celebration, and more. A full list of programming is available on The Battery Atlanta’s website.
LAS VEGAS: Resorts World Las Vegas has unveiled its Las Vegas Convention Center Loop passenger station, providing direct underground access to the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) in a more enjoyable, efficient, and environmentally friendly way using all-electric Teslas. Dubbed the LVCC Loop, the zero-emissions underground public transportation system allows passengers to travel directly to their destination with no stops along the way. In the future, the innovative transportation system has its sights set on expanding further into the Vegas Loop system with more than 55 total stops.
LOS ANGELES:Celebrate Bastille Day on July 14 with chef Josette Leblond at Normandie Bakery in Los Angeles from 5-9 p.m. The country-style buffet, dubbed Campagnard, will include charcuterie, amuse-bouche, salads, couscous, cheese, gratin dauphinois, beef bourguignon, and wine, plus a surprise treat from the pastry chef. A complimentary show with Sylvie Boisel and her French Music Jazz Standards will also be featured. Tickets begin at $39.50 per person and can be reserved by inquiring within at Normandie Bakery.
MALIBU, CALIF.: Chris Reed has been appointed the vice president of global sales for The Ranch, a luxury healthy lifestyle company with results-oriented fitness and wellness programs. In his role, Reed will be responsible for leading sales efforts for the brand's current programs in Malibu and Italy, as well as developing and implementing the sales strategy for future locations both in the United States and abroad. Additionally, he will aid in identifying and achieving sales targets in leisure, corporate, incentive, and group travel, while establishing new sales channels to build awareness and demand.
NEW YORK: St-Germain elderflower liqueur is launching the second iteration of its annual Fleuriste St-Germain with a free event in SoHo July 21-23. And to highlight the current global flower shortage, artist and jewelry designer Jameel Mohammed, alongside paper floral artist Zoe Bradley, will be curating a “flowerless” flower shop using unconventional materials. The bespoke pop-up in downtown Manhattan will be designed as a hybrid flower market-bar anchored by Fleuriste St-Germain. Surrounding programming, including live performances, paper flower workshops, and cocktail hours will also be taking place in efforts to inspire creativity and joy.
