Hello, Monday lunchtime is when we round up the best of the weekend’s content from lep.co.uk. A woman has been left with life-changing injuries after she was struck by a tractor. She had been walking along the Bay Gateway in Morecambe with a man when the collision happened, said police. Elsewhere, a man in his 30s was found dead at a house along with containers of what is believed to be a potentially hazardous material. Police attended the address in Brierfield after receiving reports of a sudden death. There were plenty of events going on at the weekend with RockPrest delighting crowds in Moor Park. The UK’s biggest tribute festival included odes to Metallica, AC/DC, Foo Fighters, Bowie, the Killers, Fleetwood Mac and more. Lytham Festival also continues to wow, with Duran Duran among the acts performing. Finally, football is back, with PNE opening their pre-season campaign at Bamber Bridge, a game that saw an impressive performance from on-trial former Liverpool man Ben Woodburn. Thanks for reading, Adam [email protected] | |
