ANZAC Day initially represented the Australian and New Zealand troops who landed at Gallipoli on April 25th 1915 but later extended to all soldiers involved in WWI. To find out more on what life was like for these soldiers, you can listen to the State Library of NSW podcast series, which explores the diaries and letters of Australians on the Western Front.
