By: Charles Bradley, Global Editor in Chief Motorsport.com There’s something quite depressing about Williams being forced to cancel its augmented reality Formula 1 launch after its app was hacked prior to going live. Instead of a nice experience for its legion of loyal fans, it had to fall back on the regular practice of launching images of its car – with a bright new livery but not many sponsors – and traditional media interviews with drivers and team management. One aspect of F1 2021 that does please me, however, is that all of the teams (so far) appear to have produced liveries that all look different to each other. Whether by design, or accident, that can only be a good thing! |
