| | Dear John, I hope you’ve had a moment to see the video of my recent OCW update. You’ll learn about our efforts to make our content available wherever people are trying to learn and the near term challenges we need to face in order to make OCW even more accessible. What’s also important for OCW’s future is your use of our resources, sharing OCW with your network so that more people can enjoy free knowledge, and your financial support. Your donation during our Spring fundraising campaign will help us secure a challenge gift of $15,000 -- directly helping us provide a more dynamic OCW experience and build the next generation platform for OCW. Please be one of the 1,000 OCW supporters we need to achieve our goal. Our challenge donors, Gene and H. Mae Sprouse and John Rudzki, are longtime supporters of OCW. Gene and H. Mae recently told us, “We continue to believe that OCW is a most important vehicle to make available high quality educational materials to anyone in the world who wishes to learn from them. We also believe that the program has immense benefits for MIT, to be recognized as a trusted authority in the subject matter presented on OCW, and also a leader in Open Access.” They believe that OCW directly enables opportunities for people to improve their lives and they want to encourage other like-minded learners to join them in supporting OCW. If you agree with John, Gene, and H. Mae, and can afford to support OCW, then please donate today. A donation in any amount will help us reach our goal. Thanks in advance for considering this request. Sincerely, Krishna Krishna Rajagopal Dean for Digital Learning, Open Learning |
