Mask Mandate: Been wearing that mask? (Hint: we’re still under a state mask order.) Anyway, Gov. John Bel Edwards has a news conference this afternoon and is expected to announce whether he'll extend the indoor mask mandate. If he does away with the mask rule, what then? Some experts weighed in.
Hanging on: The folks who run restaurants across the region flip the lights on each morning wondering what the day ahead will bring. First, it was the pandemic. Then, Hurricane Ida. Surviving in Seattle: It wasn’t easy, but the Saints left Seattle with a much-needed win Monday night. Hardly a thing of beauty, Jeff Duncan writes. And at one point a play left Drew Brees asking, “What are you doing?” But a win . . . is a win. We’ll take it. Lots of Saints coverage here.
