| Where will the LSU Tigers be spending the postseason? The College Football Playoff is out after LSU lost to Texas A&M last Saturday, but the Tigers could still go to the Sugar Bowl if they beat Georgia this Saturday in the SEC Championship Game (3 p.m. CST on CBS). But what if LSU doesn't win? The Tigers are a 17-plus point underdog after all. The vast majority of national bowl projections have LSU in the Citrus Bowl, but one interesting projection raises the prospect of the Tigers heading way out west to an exotic postseason address. Some disturbing news out of Lincoln, Nebraska, where former LSU assistant coach and New Orleans native Mickey Joseph was arrested Wednesday on domestic assault charges. Joseph just spent most of the 2022 season as interim coach at Nebraska, his alma mater. Georgia won the national title last season for the first time since 1980, but it came up short of winning the SEC title. Naturally the Bulldogs' number one goal is to fill that void on Saturday.
