Police could disperse Sarah Everard vigils

Planned candlelit vigils in memory of Sarah Everard could be dispersed by police.

The Scottish Government has said it could not guarantee the events, due to take place in Scotland this weekend, won't be broken up.

It comes after police formally identified human remains as those of the missing woman, whose disappearance has sparked a national conversation about women's safety in public.
