The war in Israel continues to claim innocent lives. Yesterday, the IDF announced the tragic loss of three brave soldiers: Nevo Fisher, Matityahu Perel, and Kenew Kasa, all killed in the Gaza Strip. May their memory be a blessing.

Meanwhile, alarming updates from the northern border raise new concerns. Israeli officials fear that Hezbollah may resume fighting once the current ceasefire expires on January 27. With the Lebanese Army failing to dismantle Hezbollah’s presence and weapons in southern Lebanon, the threat looms larger every day.

Since the ceasefire was signed, tensions have remained high. Violations are slowing the pace of IDF’s withdrawal to agreed-upon points, which heightens the risk of renewed conflict. If Hezbollah chooses to pick up arms again, Israel could face another dangerous front in this already devastating war.

This situation is extremely fragile, and Zaka Tel Aviv continues to stand ready to respond to emergencies, assist families, and support communities affected by this relentless conflict. But we cannot do it alone.
