Due to the extreme cold coming over the next two weeks, we will be covering the greens this upcoming Tuesday, January 7th. The golf course will be closed while the greens are covered. This stretch of sub 40 degree weather is set to last quite a few days, we plan to uncover and re-open as soon as possible. As soon as our uncovering/reopening date is set, we will notify everyone. The golf shop and driving range will be open when able, please see below for our updated hours over the coming days.

The greenhouse effect created by green covers allows the grass underneath to breathe and retain a certain amount of heat and moisture on these crazy cold days. They also help minimize the temperature fluctuations or the soil and might reduce the loss of the grass. The course will be playable more quickly and reduce the risk of winterkill from wind and ice by using these green covers. |

There are many aspects involved in maintaining a golf course.
The superintendent has the biggest role to play, but there is immense responsibility on the members and players of the course
to maintain its status and improve overall conditions. The upkeep the players on the course have during their round makes
the job of the superintendent easier on a day-to-day basis and
will improve conditions in the long run. Please do your part to
ensure that our course continues to improve and be the best

Longer days bring more rounds of golf. We look to the golfers to assist in filling their divots and raking bunkers. We see too many instances of people exiting bunkers without raking behind them. Please do your part to help get our course into tip-top shape for the rest of the year! |
