January 13, 2022

Good morning from Los Angeles! The photo above is from Tuesday, which was a perfect beach day with temperatures in the high 70s!

There's a ton of travel news as per usual these days so scroll down and be sure to see why you'll want to book future flights on Delta Air Lines.

Security Checkpoint Numbers
On Tuesday, TSA officers screened just 1,125,952 people, which was the lowest number since April 13. Yesterday, they screened 1,231,419 people. Two years ago on the same day (pre-pandemic), that number was 1,970,450. This is likely due to the lack of business travel since most leisure travelers are back at work or school. But the good news is that it's still more than double where we were a year ago as that number was just 567,401 and that it looks like Omicron has peaked in some places.

How to Reuse your N95 and KN95 Masks
If you are traveling, there's no doubt you will want to wear the right mask. By now you know that experts say it’s time to ditch cloth masks in favor of more highly effective masks like N95s and KN95s. Here's how they can be reused.

AA Passenger Storms Cockpit
Is it just me or does it seem like airline passengers are getting crazier and crazier? The latest incident of air rage took place yesterday on a Miami-bound flight. Here's the story.
