Hello all— About a year ago I visited Egypt, a trip I still consider one of the best of my life. There were, however, some downsides, and one of them was undoubtedly my visit to the Giza Pyramids. So, when Nick Hilden pitched a piece detailing just how sorry a state conditions there have reached, as well as solutions, I jumped. I think you’ll find it fascinating. I can’t imagine I’ll get into birding any time soon–I am not a patient person. However, seeing thousands upon thousands of cranes all in one spot sounds pretty magnificent in Brandon Withrow’s telling, and it would give me a reason to visit overlooked Nebraska.
