The other day I was complaining about something trivial when I felt a twinge of guilt. What am I doing? I thought . I have an incredible life. I have a great marriage, healthy children, and a job that I love. There’s absolutely no reason for me to complain. Yet there I was, bellyaching about a silly inconvenience. When you ask people how they’re doing, they sometimes respond, “I can’t complain.” But as I’ve discovered, you can always complain, no matter how much you’ve been blessed. Ingratitude is even worse for those of us who are Christians. We been adopted into God’s family. We’re co-heirs with Christ.
