I remember a time when I told a friend about a cool find on Amazon that I'd just purchased. When he asked how I found it, I told him that our overlords brought it to my attention.

He chided me about giving away too much info, but I've given up on that. I love when Google knows what I'm asking. It's so much better than Jeeves. (Did that ever really work?)

As you know, that's all AI, which has taken huge leaps in the last year. I welcome it, and I think you should, too.

As financial advisors, your bread and butter is meeting with clients and personalizing service. Take onboarding, emails and drafting reports out of your day, and you're spending that time building those all-important connections.

This week, our chief correspondent, Tobias Salinger, looked at how wealth managers can learn to play nice with the robots. While some industries have ample reason to worry about AI, wealth management has a lot to gain.

And if nothing else, it'll make shopping a lot easier.
