What a year 2021 was!

Even though some good things came of it, I found it rather tough.

I'm hoping for a better New Year.

And I'm going to tell you what I'm going to do to make it so.

I'm also going to talk about fat.

I heard from some people that it brought a smile to their face and even made some laugh. So that made my day.

10 WARNINGS ABOUT THE SO-CALLED “DECONSTRUCTION MOVEMENT”

It’s a shame I feel I have to write about this. But I must. Why? Because I care about the spiritual health of individuals. I don’t care about movements. I care about you. And you. And you. Unfortunately, we’re already seeing people trying to make deconstruction a movement with leaders and rules. So here’s my end of the year warnings about this whole so-called deconstruction movement:

1. This is your personal spiritual growth. Not a group thing. Not a movement!
2. So it’s diverse. Don’t conform. There is no common goal. You do you. Brazenly!
3. Many will try to become its leaders to steer it. You don’t need a leader anymore.
4. Watch for infighting as people compete for power in their “movement”.
5. Lava turns to stone. Movements stagnate. Then die.
6. Some people use the word “deconstruction” to lure you back into the fold.
7. Change then find allies. Don’t find a group then change to fit! Church all over again!
8. Don’t fear. Freedom feels odd and looks offensive. But be bold. You’re okay!
9. Freedom means resisting arrest. Prepare for criticism from herd mentalities.
10. Don’t get pulled down. Be happy! Growth is an adventure. Not a chore or a means to an end. You’ve already arrived. Rejoice and enjoy!

WHY Happy New Year?

I don't know about you, but I found last year difficult. I experienced a lot of sadness.

Yes... due to COVID and how it's changed the world.

And us.

I mean, I have a lot to be thankful for. Especially my wife Lisa, my family, my home, my friends.

Plus the fact that NakedPastor continues to grow in ways I never ever could have dreamed. I am truly grateful for that. If someone told me even a few years ago that I would be making a living from being an artist, I would have scoffed. I've done a lot of growing up.

I realized, much to my dismay, that I'm not powerless. I can change things. I can help. I can make things better, improve life and the world, and help people empower themselves to live a life of peace, freedom, and happiness. I want us all to know love.

So... that's what I'm going to do in 2022.

How about you? Do you have one big goal for 2022? Not that you need one and not that I'm recommending it. I'd just be interested to hear what you're looking forward to this year.

I love the word "nutribollocks"... which means all the nonsense out there about food, dieting, weight, body shape, and so on.

So far it's a really good read. And so needed!
