BY DOUG GRAHAM | Staff writer The East Baton Rouge Parish School Board has trimmed its list of candidates for superintendent to five semifinalists, with the naming a new leader still expected early next month. Interim Superintendent Adam Smith was among three Louisiana natives to make the cut. Next week, the board will hold a round of interviews with the semifinalists, to be conducted virtually.
