As we wrap our running back preview week, we're closing things out with a search for hidden upside. That can come in many different forms, obviously, and we won't be able to see all of them coming, but we're going to try to get ahead of the curve as much as we can. That starts with Dave Richard's breakdown of the running backs who might be able to add pass-catching to their skill set in 2020. Some of these players, like James Conner and Todd Gurley, have done it before, so it wouldn't be too much of a stretch for both to bounce back. But others, like Joe Mixon and Derrick Henry, figure to be even better than before if they can just take a bit of a step forward in that part of their game. How likely is it? That's what Dave is trying to figure out. Plus, I looked at every running back committee to try to figure out who might have superstar potential if they can just take the job for themselves. And Ben Gretch takes a look at several key points in the draft and tries to figure out who you should draft based on who has the most upside. Because you're not playing for fourth place, you're playing for the championship. |
