BY ADAM DAIGLE | Acadiana Business Editor The annual ICSC convention is the largest gathering for retail real estate in the U.S. It's where deals often get made, including one that landed Louisiana a Costco Wholesale. This year's event, held last week in Las Vegas, might not have turned up any big deals, but it was a chance to see which companies are looking hard at the Lafayette, Baton Rouge and New Orleans markets. RaceTrac, for example, is interested in growing its chain of gas stations and convenience stores. Starbucks, Chipotle, T.J. Maxx and Five Below, are also all pursuing new locations in the state.
