One of London's prettiest neighbourhoods is putting on quite the show this festive season! The regal streets of Belgravia are resplendent with 97,000 white bulbs, Christmassy installations, and swoon-worthy stuccoed shopfronts that are all dressed up for the holidays. 

Belgravia's more than just a place to snap Christmas card-worthy selfies, though. Behind every corner, a whole host of yuletide surprises await — from creative pop-ups, to festive feasts, to glorious handmade gifts. Basically, if you're after a highly concentrated dose of seasonal cheer in a beautiful part of central London that wouldn't look out of place in a Regency costume drama, this is the place to go.

Glorious Gifts

Christmas shopping in a capital city isn't typically stress-free, but at Belgravia's bountiful boutiques, it's positively soothing. Heck, fragrance specialists Les Senteurs are even treating to shoppers to champagne every Saturday this month. For indecisive shoppers, Belgravia's  specially-curated gift guides are a lifesaver — check out this one by perfumer Jo Malone CBE, which celebrates the best of Elizabeth Street.
A Charming Christmas Market

Feast on mince pies and spiced mulled wine and enjoy live music as you shop gorgeous handcrafted gifts from a range of independent businesses at Eccleston Yards Christmas Market, which opens for one last weekend this Saturday and Sunday, 11am-5pm, in Belgravia's stunning courtyard.

A Gingerbread City

Here's some festive fun for the whole family: a trip to a miniature city made entirely from gingerbread. Created by a team of 100 architects, designers and engineers and brought to 6-7 Motcomb Street by the Museum of Architecture, The Gingerbread City exhibition explores the role of nature in urban planning. Gingerbread house-making workshops are also available to book separately.
