That feeling when you walk out after hearing the last "no thanks" of a long day of cold calls and you realize that you haven't added a new merchant or even pre-merchant to your portfolio today? That feeling when you find out a second merchant canceled on you today? Sometimes you feel overwhelmed. You are burnt out. You ask yourself, "Am I choosing the right verticals? Am I pricing the merchants correctly? Should have I offered a different piece of equipment? Should I be doing this at all?" The thing is, we must get strategic when we have these moments of doubt. Even I forget that sometimes. ;)
Whether you are in an ongoing battle with doubt, or it's been months since your last bout, I can tell you what I do when I need a pick-me-up, a re-focus, a reminder why I am doing this. I turn to the men and women who have gone successfully before me and watch and listen for inspiration. I need to get out of my funk. I need to dust myself off.
 I know you are asking, "But there are all kinds of people who have gone before us, who should I listen to?" I get asked this all the time. I mean, you probably get multiple emails a day from women and men telling you they have a better program, better compensation, a better way to sell point of sale and merchant services. So who do you listen to? Well, one of those people is on tomorrow's PayProTec Thursday! Now, let's get something out of the way. You can do a lot of different strategies. And every plan isn't right for everybody. The most important thing you need to do is choose who you listen to. I can guarantee you there is no one more trustworthy than the voice that will be on PayProTec Thursday with me.
