| You’re not really prepared for a crisis until you simulate it live with your team. It’s the only way to diagnose the strengths and weaknesses of your plan, the types of responses you’ll need, where the bottlenecks develop – and how the team reacts to unexpected developments under pressure. We’ll develop, lead and staff a crisis simulation workshop, in-person or by video conference, for your crisis team, including leadership. That includes: Prep session: We’ll meet with you and select team members to identify two to three scenarios most appropriate for a simulation, as well as specific vulnerabilities, pressure points or stakeholders to include. However, the specific simulation will remain a surprise to all staff. Prep packet: We’ll prepare a packet that includes the crisis plan and some minimal instructions for the simulation (e.g., timing of breaks, restrictions on other calls/meetings, etc.). Crisis scenario slides and materials: As the mock crisis unfolds, we’ll present new information in vivid ways with slides, handouts and emails/calls from people playing the roles of reporters, employees and other stakeholders.
