1. Mercado Da Pedra

One of Vigo’s must-see visits is its port and marina. And as everyone who comes to Vigo visits the port, the next place to head to on foot is the old stone market or Mercado Da Pedra nearby.

4. Monte O Castro and archaeological site

The history lesson continues as you wander around Vigo. A walk up Monte O Castro will bring you to an archaeological site that goes back to the 2nd and 3rd centuries, when people settled in these hill forts and founded what would become the city of Vigo.
