Dear Yogi,
The concept of health goes far beyond just the absence of disease. It's about feeling balanced and nourished in all areas of our lives - physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and socially.
The fact that much of it is in our own hands, rather than down to genetics, can feel overwhelming. How can we navigate the deluge of information about what we are 'supposed' to do to keep ourselves healthy without it feeling like it's just one more thing to add to the To Do list?
What is one small step you can take today to support yourself? It could be putting on your favourite song and dancing wildly to it, taking 5 minutes to breathe deeply, or drinking your morning cup of tea outside and listening to the birds. Make it small and make it manageable; even better, make it pleasant!
Also, it’s helpful to remind yourself that the ‘perfect conditions’ don’t exist - life is full of ups and downs, and your health is no different. What's important is finding what works for you and making small, sustainable changes that align with your values.
We have a few tips below - choose what’s right for you.
