| | The Cupcake Report: Which is Best? |
We made hundreds of cupcakes last week. We gave them away, handed them out in our store and in a class.
So, which did people like best?
There was no consensus but three stood out as favorites.
The Chocolate Raspberry Buttercream Cupcake. This is a great cupcake with its raspberry cream filling. Everyone likes it but I'm not sure that passions run deep.
The Maple Bacon Cupcake. This is the love/hate cupcake. It's a maple chocolate cupcake topped with candied bacon.
I offered these to two women. One said, "That's disgusting," and wouldn't touch it.
The other handed the cupcake she was eating to her son so she could get started on a maple bacon cupcake. She was delighted.
The Chunky Monkey Cupcake. No dissenters here. It's a banana cupcake with nuts and chocolate chips and a banana cream filling.
This cupcake is so different and so good that folks do get passionate about it. It's number one.
