This week, we revealed a refreshed lineup for Radio National in 2025, with new programs, fresh faces and familiar voices taking on exciting roles. Cassie McCullagh and Hilary Harper will serve as the guiding voices of Radio National, seamlessly connecting programs and fostering live, dynamic engagement throughout the day. Tegan Taylor will host Life Matters, with Beverley Wang continuing her regular spot as host on Fridays. Sally Sara will lead Radio National Breakfast, while Fran Kelly will host The Radio National Hour in the evenings, focusing on in-depth news analysis. Nick Bryant will come on board to host Saturday Extra, and Dr Preeya Alexander will join Dr Norman Swan as co-host of Health Report. David Marr will remain as host of Late Night Live, and Siobhan Marin will take over as host of Quick Smart. Rae Johnston will step in as host of Download This Show. There will also be a suite of new programs to complement this fantastic lineup. Marc Fennell will present an exciting history series, and Jonathan Green will sink his teeth into a new food-focused show, Every Bite. Tim Burrowes and Vivienne Kelly will tackle the shifting media landscape in their new program, MediaLand, while Peter Martin will break down financial complexities in The Economy, Stupid. Daniel Browning’s Arts in 30 will bring a weekly wrap of the latest in the creative world, and Belinda Smith will host a topical science show, Lab Notes.
