ATLANTA: The Atlanta Film Festival (ATLFF) and Creative Conference has announced its 2020 event will take place as a drive-in with digital screenings and virtual educational events. The 44th annual ATLFF will take place Sept. 17-27 and the modified format will allow audience members from Atlanta and beyond to safely enjoy screenings from over 150 filmmakers over 11 days. The City of College Park plans to open two new Hilton property hotel developments by February 2022. Dubbed Tru Hotel and Home2 Suites, the hotels will both be located near Georgia International Convention Center and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport’s ATL Skytrain and Rental Car Center. CHICAGO: Ateema Media & Marketing has pivoted their annual Hospitality and Tourism Summit to fit an online format spanned over multiple days. The summit will take place Sept. 14-18 and will include a variety of educational sessions, virtual networking events, and online trade shows featuring a marketplace for buyers, sellers, and influencers to connect. LAS VEGAS: The Global Gaming Expo (G2E) is taking place Oct. 27-28 this year. The American Gaming Association and Reed Exhibitions are aiming to bring the G2E experience to attendees all over the world with their shift to a virtual setting and schedule. The event will feature keynotes, educational sessions, business meetings, and networking opportunities. ORLANDO: The 18th annual Global Peace Film Festival (GPFF) has pivoted their programming and gone virtual. Online feature film screenings, panel discussions, and art exhibitions will take place from Sept. 21 to Oct. 4.
