What next for London's cultural sector? We asked two experts
Earlier this week, London entered the highest level of coronavirus restrictions — a move with devastating consequences for cultural life in the capital. But all hope is not lost, and there are a few things we can all do right now to protect the future of the sector.
To learn more, we spoke to Justine Simons OBE, Deputy Mayor for Culture and Creative Industries and Catherine McGuinness, Chair of the Policy and Resources Committee at City of London Corporation. As well as sharing ways to support London culture during the festive season, they revealed how the coronavirus pandemic has impacted London's creative industries and shared their hopes for them going forward.

As Justine puts it, "London will recover", and when normal life resumes, we "may find we’ve become a city with more empathy, humanity and understanding... we may be a better city for it."
