Hi Achternaam, What are your must-haves for a good kitchen? We recently moved, so I'm missing my old kitchen, but I'm also thinking about what to put in my new kitchen that we're building! :) Some of my must-haves are an island, a propane gas stove, big windows, a double sink, lots of cupboards, and a walk-in pantry. All of those things come in handy for big canning projects, among other things. Speaking of canning projects... Apple Butter Recipe in Quarts - A reader canned apple butter in quart jars, later realizing that is way too much apple butter to use at once. :) What are the options? Is re-canning in smaller jars a good choice?
